Halloween Festivities in Redwood Falls 2025 Edition

Halloween gives us a great reason to get out, connect, and enjoy Redwood Falls together. Every year, local groups, churches, nonprofits, and community organizations join forces to create safe and fun Halloween experiences, and 2025 promises to be just as spirited. The Francois Haunted Hotel

When:
Fri and Sat, October 24 and 25 (7:00 to 10:00 pm)
Thu and Fri, October 30 and 31 (7:00 to 9:00 pm)

Venture into the sinister heart of downtown Redwood Falls at The Francois Haunted Hotel, now including the newly discovered Francois Speakeasy. Expect new scares, wandering monsters, and eerie surprises around every turn. This attraction is best suited for ages 13 and older.

$15 at the door (ticket trailer outside the building)

Redwood Area Halloween Plans

Monsters on Main (Kid-Friendly)

When: Saturday, October 25 (2:00 to 5:00 pm)
Where: Downtown along 2nd Street

This daytime event is perfect for families and younger trick-or-treaters. You’ll find games, treat stations, and gentler tours through The Francois.
3:00 to 4:00 pm - No Scare Tours
4:00 to 5:00 pm - Low Scare Tours

It’s a wonderful way for kids or anyone who prefers less fright to get in on the haunted hotel fun without full intensity.

Community Trunk-or-Treat and More Halloween Highlights

Tuesday, October 28

  • St. John's Lutheran School's Trunk or Treat (5:30 to 6:30 pm) at St. John's Lutheran Church and School, 34719 County Rd 24 with pumpkin painting, games, trick or treating for ages 0-8.

Thursday, October 30

  • Lower Sioux Tricks or Treats (5 to 6:30 pm) hosted by the Lower Sioux Indian Community, at Lower Sioux Rec Gym, 39527 Res. Hwy 1, Morton, MN. Wear your best costume and enjoy our games, tricks and treats!

Friday, October 31 (Halloween Day)

  • Weelborg Ford Trunk or Treat (1:00 to 5:30 pm) at 1307 E Bridge Street with games, candy, music, and prizes
  • Bayer Trick or Treat (3:00 to 6:00 pm) at Bayer, 1210 E Bridge Street
  • Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church Trunk or Treat (5:00 to 6:30 pm) a safe, friendly space for trick-or-treaters
  • VistaPrairie at Garnette Garden (3:30pm - 5:00 pm) Residents and staff would love to see all the little ghosts and goblins. We will be handing out treats.
  • Northwood Church Kids’ Fest (6:00 to 8:00 pm) a free family event full of candy, games, and fun
  • Redwood Cenex C-Store (all day) bring your kids in their Halloween costumes for candy.
  • Redwood Falls Kwik Trip (all day) bring your kids in their Halloween costumes for a free frosted sugar cookie.
