The Redwood Falls Ziggi’s Coffee drive-thru is officially under construction and is currently scheduled to open in June 2026. When it does, it will bring a drive-thru, a walk-up window, and outdoor patio seating to town.

Construction Updates and What to Watch For
Construction has started, and the immediate focus is getting key work completed before winter weather sets in. As the owners shared, “Right now, we’re working to get foundations done before it gets too cold.”
From there, the project will keep moving through the winter months. “Vertical construction and interior work will be happening during the winter months with most outside finishes taking place in the spring.” They also noted that the timeline will feel a little different than some builds because exterior work will be finished later: “Redwood will be a little different with the exterior concrete and landscaping taking place in the spring.”
What to Expect in June 2026
The goal is for the Redwood Falls Ziggi’s Coffee drive-thru to be open in June 2026, and they are aiming to bring what they describe as “a quick and convenient premium beverage and food option!” They shared that customers will be able to order items using Ziggi’s signature recipes or customize them to fit personal preferences.
They also noted there will be options for different dietary needs, adding, “Lots of Gluten Free Options as well, the GF pumpkin bread was amazing.”

The owners shared that their decision is rooted in Minnesota ties and a belief in small towns. “We grew up in MN and believe in small town America,” they said. They also spoke to the reality many small business owners face today: “Running a business as a stand-alone is very difficult.” For them, franchise support helps make local ownership sustainable. “Purchasing into the Ziggi’s franchise gives us as small business owners the support needed to compete in today’s economy.”
They also made their commitment clear: “While other franchises and businesses might be shying away from small towns, we are doubling down.”
Local Hiring and Grand Opening Plans
As the opening gets closer, Ziggi’s plans to build a local team. “As the store gets closer to opening, we will be looking to hire local managers, shift leads and Baristas.”
And when they open, they plan to celebrate. “Definitely! We’ll have an entire week of Grand Opening specials.” We will share more details as those plans are finalized.

Ziggi’s plans to launch a Redwood Falls-focused Facebook page closer to opening. “As currently planned, our Facebook page will go live about a month before we open.” They also shared that Facebook is currently their primary platform, with TikTok likely to become a bigger focus moving forward.
