What Makes Redwood County Fair Different From the Rest?

Redwood County is proud to be home to one of the best county fairs in Minnesota! The Redwood County Fair hosts many unique entertainment opportunities and attractions that fill four days with fun for the whole family! Check out some of our favorite things that make the Redwood County Fair different from all the rest.

Entertainment 

You can’t beat the entertainment at the Redwood County Fair! The Redwood County Fair is run by a board of volunteers who work tirelessly to fundraise and bring in the best of the best entertainment. This year’s entertainment lineup is second to none and features the regional and national artists of Craig Campbell, Jared Blake, Collin Raye, Trailer Choir, Hicktown Mafia and the Pop 200 Tour.

Daycare Day

The Redwood County Fair is proud to host a day specific to the childcare centers and in-homes throughout the county. On Friday, each year is Daycare Day at the Fair. Those interested in participating are encouraged to sign up and enter the fairgrounds through fairgrounds through South Gate by The Falls Cafe. Special thank you to this year’s sponsor Bayer.

Friday, July 19th

  • 9:30 am Check-in
  • 10:00 am Fisherman Dan’s Off the Hook – Comedy Show
  • 10:45 am Glass Blowing
  • 11:00 am Dock Dogs
  • 12:00 pm Johnny Lloyd Music
  • 1:00 pm Glass Blowing
  • 4-H projects and demonstrations in between live shows
  • Ralph Kolp Exhibit Hall opens at 10 am!

Dock Dogs

Dock Dogs is a family favorite at the Redwood County Fair. Attendees are welcomed and encouraged to bring their dog and have them jump off the dock at one of the regularly scheduled shows! You will have a great time and discover a new sport that you and your dog can share for years to come. Even if you don’t have a dog, come and take in the show to see the dogs in action!

Other Attractions at the Redwood County Fair

Other attractions you can’t miss out on while at the Redwood County Fair are the Merriam’s Midway, 4-H Food Stand & Exhibitors, Grandstand Events featuring Bull Riding & Barrel Racing, Demo Derby and Redwood Speedway Sunday Races. For the many different attractions and entertainment the Redwood County Fair has to offer, the fair admission is free for children ages 12 and under and all entertainment events are free with the purchase of admission to the fair. Come out on July 18 through July 21 to enjoy the many different things that make the Redwood County Fair different from the rest!
