Whether you're planning an afternoon of activities with the kids or looking for a little Halloween fright after dark, here are the events announced so far to help you plan your Halloween season.
Saturday, October 24
- Trunk or Treat at River Valley Groom & Spa
- Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Location: Morton
- Details: Costumes, candy, and dogs on-site.
- Redwood Area Arts Open House and Annual Meeting
- Time: 10 a.m. to noon
- Location: Redwood Area Arts, Redwood Falls
- Details: View art exhibits and the new signage and display system while enjoying light refreshments.
- Monsters on Main
- Time: 2 to 4 p.m.
- Location: 2nd Street in downtown Redwood Falls
- Details: A free event for children under 13 featuring games, prizes, and trick-or-treating. No-scare tours of The Francois Haunted Hotel run from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by low-scare tours from 3 to 4 p.m. Donations are appreciated, and non-perishable food donations will be collected for the Redwood Area Food Shelf.

- Location: 165 East 2nd Street, Redwood Falls
- Details: Haunted tours with $15 admission. The experience is not recommended for children under 13. Visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Redwood Area Food Shelf.

The Francois Haunted Hotel
- Time: 7 to 9 p.m. each evening
- Location: 165 East 2nd Street, Redwood Falls
- Details: The haunted attraction returns for evening tours on October 23, 30, and 31, in addition to its October 24 opening weekend date. Admission is $15, payable by cash or Venmo at the door. The experience is not recommended for children under 13, and visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Redwood Area Food Shelf.
